Travel/HMS Team Information  

Each Fall and Spring, for grades kindergarten through eighth, we have competitive teams that travel to play other area programs and tournaments. This is a great program for players who want to take their game to the next level. It is also for players who want to play year round. In the Spring, we only have a travel competitive programs - no recreational soccer. 

This is a competitive soccer program.  Play time for each player is determined by the head coach given player ability and game situation. This is not like the recreational league where coaches are required to play everyone at least half of the game.  

** K - 4th grade players must participate in Rec League to play on a competitive travel team. 

Spring 2025 TRYOUTS

All players who participated on a Fall Travel or SIMSS team do not need try out for Spring. 

There will only be tryouts for teams with openings. Look for updates on teams with openings. 

HMS teams can use practice participation as a tryout. 

Spring 2025 FEES

Travel Team (K-4th): $60 Plus $30 Jersey Fee (if needed) - be sure an old jersey fits and works for your team!   
SIMSS Middle School (5th-8th): $80 

PAY ONLINE ONLY IN FULL: Submit total fees online at conclusion of the registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account. Registration and team placement will be completed after registration. You will not have access to team schedules or communications in SportsEngine until payment is received.  

Please do not give payment to coaches.  You cannot pay for participation in the manner!

BEFORE you register using the link below you will need to obtain the registration password from your travel/SIMSS coach! 


 TRAVEL K-4th Registration ONLY
REGISTER FOR TRAVEL (K--4th): Parent or Guardian of player should register and pay online.   If this is your first visit to the site, you will need to setup your SportsEngine account. This will be the Primary Account Holder for the registration. Once logged in, complete the 2025 Spring Travel Soccer Registration.


HMS 5th-8th Registration ONLY - Participates in the Southern Illinois Middle School Soccer (SIMSS) League
REGISTER FOR HMS (5th-8th): Parent or Guardian of player should register and pay online. If this is your first visit to the site, you will need to setup your SportsEngine account. This will be the Primary Account Holder for the registration. Once logged in, complete the 2025 Spring HMS Soccer Registration.   

Once you have setup your SportsEngine Account,  download the SportsEngine app for access to schedules and team communications once your child has been assigned to their travel team by the league following your registration and payment.

Cape Girardeau: May 17, 18 

Middle School teams will have different schedule and games.

All Travel/HMS Team Coaches are REQUIRED to minimally complete the free 20 minute Introduction to Grass Roots Coaching module (unless you have previously completed) - see Coaches Corner area of the website. Coaches are encouraged to take additional training modules. Send a copy of completion certificate to Greg McCulloch or Nick Lands.
